MyDreamDJ.com offers the best in local talent well versed in all types and styles of music.
With the skilled performers in our catalog, you or your organization can tackle a wide range of performance reservation requirements. For events big or small, one-off or repeat, in person or virtual, MyDream Dj is the epicenter for all performance bookings.
Why should I trust MyDream Dj with my event?
We offer the best in local talent, and the most variety in music selection. We vet both performers and users to ensure the quality of our community stays top-rated and reliable. We also have a rating system to ensure that only the top performers come up when searching for your event, rewarding success and taking action on behavior that does not meet expectations.
Availability will no longer be a question, as MyDream Dj will allow for you to see the performers live schedule to ensure that they are available during the time of your event. You will be able to specify requirements, listen to a subsect of their performance ability, and book the performer once you confirm their skills.
Lastly, payments are simplified and safe when using MyDream Dj, as time orders, extras, and invoicing are integrated into the process. Funding performance reservations is also streamlined as the MyDream Dj platform highlights total cost and expectations upon check out. Questions About Finding A Performer
How do I find a performer?
Sign up for an account here, and start browsing. You will be able to simply search for local talent, or use our search feature to specify your desires to find your Dream Dj, and book them.
Define your performance criteria, performance basics location, type of event, date, and time, and watch your ideal match come to you.
What is the cost to me for using MyDream Dj
Bookers will be charged a 5% service fee including any applicable extras. Additional cost may apply should you use a credit card or other payment method, and all fees will be presented at the checkout and shared in the booking reservation confirmation.
What if I’m not happy with the performer or performance?
Most performance reservations on MyDream Dj are completed with exceptional results, but if needed, our support staff will step in to intervene as appropriate.
Can I get an invoice for my records?
Invoices can be downloaded or printed within the system. An order confirmation will also be shared with you upon completion of the reservation.
What should I look for when booking on MyDream Dj?
You can evaluate performers by reviewing their MyDream Dj profile. Each performer in our catalog has a MyDream Dj as a performer's profile, complete with performance specialties, MyDream Dj rating, and a musical excerpt.
Will MyDream Dj screen the performers?
Absolutely!! We have a verification process to ensure that performers are proficient in their crafts, and we use multiple means to verify that performers are who they say they are. We also rate each performer to give you a sense of their skill level. Performers who have not completed our verification and authentication steps will not be shown in any search results.
Questions About Being A Performer
How do I start working on MyDream Dj?
Sign up for an account here, and finish all appropriate account verification/authentication steps. Post completion, your profile will be presented to Users and Bookers looking for talented performers. Performers are expected to have all materials (hardware and software) needed for them to perform prior to signup, and performers who have not completed our verification and authentication steps will not be shown in any search results.
As part of the setup, you will be allowed to set your own per-hour pricing, add extras (should this be applicable), and highlight areas of specialties. This will include a 1 minute (60 seconds) subsect of your live performance experience, and a section to share a personal note to attract bookers to reserve your talents. You will have the ability to highlight your ability to play clean performances as well as perform virtually. We will also connect to your personal calendar with our scheduling tool to reduce the back and forth involved in reservation scheduling.

What is the cost to be a Performer on MyDream Dj
Performers will have 10% deducted from the total reservation cost.
How do I ensure success while working with Bookers?
Similar to performing live, we would ask that you trust your talent, and perform as professionally as possible. You will be presented with the booking details and will have the option to accept or decline the gig within 2 days (48 hours) of the booking reservation proposal being made.
Post the acceptance of the reservation, communicate with your Bookers and project team, will be at your mutual discretion. How you work with your bookers is up to you, but here are a few recommendations:
Carefully evaluate each reservation prior to accepting the proposals
When in doubt, ask a clarification question. This action will help avoid any misunderstandings and clearly set expectations.
Make sure you understand the requirement and limitations of the gig before you accept the reservation
If you need to cancel the reservation, do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to allow the booker to find an alternative.
Confirm all element of the event (ex. location, access to the venue, available materials, etc) prior to the event with the Booker
Confirm attire for the event and BE ON TIME
Do not encroach on the event or event attendees
Make sure you make accommodations for setup and breakdown of materials you bring
Perform with dignity and respect for the desires of the Booker
At the end of the event, make sure your booker has everything they need.
We encourage you to remember that this is a special event for the booker, and we ask that you maintain the expectations and goodwill they have presented you through this reservation. You were selected for this event because of your skills, and we expect them to be on high display throughout the entire reservation.

Who is looking for performers on MyDream Dj?
Bookers will vary greatly from individuals with one-time needs, to agencies and companies with continuous entertainment booking requirements. Events needed can vary equally as widely from Weddings, to Live performances at Bars and Restaurants, and even Radio performances. A wide range of bookers use MyDream Dj as an avenue to find talent.
How much can I earn on MyDream Dj?
That is up to you. On MyDream Dj, you set your own rate, include your own extras (if applicable), and book whenever you are free to perform. MyDream Dj puts the earning potential in your hands, and brings local potential bookers to your page based on your skills and ratings.
As with any business, your earning potential is often tied to your experience and the demand for your skills. Once you build your reputation and following on MyDream Dj, you'll typically be able to command higher rates from bookers who see the value in your abilities.
Note: When setting your rate, we encourage you to price your services in accordance with industry standards to remain competitive and attractive to potential bookers
